She has 2 adult children; her daughter who graduated from Oklahoma State University, now working in the tech industry in Austin TX and her son who received an appointment and graduated from the US Merchant Marine Academy with a degree in Marine Nuclear Engineering, currently working as a ship engineer for Chevron.
